Swetha Pillai's work experience includes:

- Applied NLP Research Engineer at Xapien since July 2022 (ongoing)

- Data Scientist at Amnesty International from March 2021 to January 2022

- Team Member for Team MoonrAIders, a competitor in the NASA Centennial Challenges Space Robotics Challenge Phase 2, from January 2021 to January 2022. The team consists of members from various fields such as machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, representing different countries and institutions.

- Software Engineer Intern at BatFast Cricket from June 2019 to September 2019. Worked on automating data updates, developing image object detection algorithms, and prototyping an algorithm to detect human posture in players.

- Work Placement at Rolls-Royce in 2016, where Swetha learned about engineering software support, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Non-Destructive Testing techniques.

- Work Placement at Aedas London in 2013, where Swetha independently worked on a Theatre Project and observed architects in a business environment.

Swetha Pillai earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southampton from 2019 to 2020. In July 2020, Swetha obtained a certification called "Great Global Challenge 2020" from The Hacker Exchange institution.
