Wawan Purwanto

Wawan Purwanto has extensive experience in the field of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. Wawan is currently serving as the Chief Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Officer at Xapiens Teknologi Indonesia since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Deputy Chief IT Infrastructure, Network Communication & Cybersecurity at the same company from January 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Xapiens Teknologi Indonesia, Wawan worked as the General Manager- IT Infrastructure, Network, Data Center, Asset & End User Management Division at XTI from June 2018 to January 2021. Wawan also gained valuable experience at PT. Indika Energy Tbk. as the Manager of ICT Infrastructure, Data Center, Asset & Service Desk Department from May 2014 to May 2018, and as the IT Infrastructure Architect Manager from January 2011 to April 2014. Wawan started their career as an IT Project and Planner Supervisor at PT. Petrosea, Tbk from July 2008 to December 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard Indonesia from May 2006 to June 2008, where they were responsible for delivering Windows and Messaging Environment services to clients.

Wawan Purwanto has a Master's degree in System Information Management from Binus University, which they obtained between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Informatical technology from Alkamal Institute of Technology and Science, between 1995 and 1997. Wawan also holds a Diploma in Informatical Management from STMIK Bandung, obtained between 1992 and 1995. Furthermore, Wawan Purwanto obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer from Microsoft. The specific details of when this certification was obtained are not provided.
