Reynold Verret

Reynold Verret is the current President at Xavier University of Louisiana. Prior to this, they served as Provost at Savannah State University from January 2012 to January 2015. Additionally, they have been a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Wilkes University and Dean Misher College of Arts and Science at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Verret has also served as Chair Department of Chemistry at Clark Atlanta University and Adjunct Professor of Immunology at Morehouse School of Medicine. Reynold began their career as a Research Fellow at MIT Center for Cancer Research from January 1984 to January 1988 and Yale University Howard Hughes Institute from January 1982 to January 1984.

Reynold Verret received their Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Reynold also holds a B.A. in Biological Chemistry from Columbia College, Columbia University. Earlier in their educational career, they attended Brooklyn Prep.
