Chengsheng Zhu

Chengsheng Zhu is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist II and Team Lead at Xbiome. Chengsheng manages a research team, plans and oversees various R&D projects, collaborates with CROs/consultants, and facilitates communication between international teams. Chengsheng also established drug discovery and synthetic biology platforms, developed a microbial taxonomical classifier, and presented their work at conferences. Previously, Chengsheng was a Postdoctoral Associate at Rutgers University, where Chengsheng analyzed city subway metagenomes and taught bioinformatics courses. Chengsheng holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics.
