Shulin Wang

Chief Medical Science Advisor at Xbiome

Shulin Wang has over 30 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Shulin began their career in 1986 as a Radiologist at PUMC Hospital in Beijing, China. In 1991, they worked as a Research Assistant at Princeton University in the Molecular Biology Department. From 1997 to 2009, they worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb in various positions, including Associate Director of Clinical Scientific Operations, Clinical Trial Manager for Virology Medical Affairs, and Research Scientist for Drug Discovery. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Vice President of Clinical Development at VitalStrategic Research Institute. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Director of Clinical Development at TransTech Pharma, Inc. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Senior Clinical Scientist at ExecuPharm. Since 2019, they have been the Chief Medical Science Advisor and Executive Medical Director at Xbiome, leading clinical development programs in oncology, metabolic diseases, anti-inflammatory diseases, gastroenterology, and CNS with microbiome products. Shulin also oversees the donor program to ensure that the donor selection, maintenance, and quality control process meet national and international standards.

Shulin Wang obtained their M.D. from Bethune Medical College, Jilin University between 1981 and 1986, studying Medicine. Shulin then furthered their education by obtaining an M.S. in Biology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania between 1990 and 1991.
