David Tauriello

Vice President, Operations at XBRL US

David Tauriello has over 20 years of experience in operations, web development, content management, and online production. From 2007 to 2006, they were the Vice President of Operations at XBRL US, Inc., where they collaborated with the management team to develop strategies and support for corporate membership recruitment and retention, software subscription sales, continuing professional education (CPE) programming, and consulting. David also directed enterprise content management, maintained an IT production schedule, and implemented web-based resources.

From 2006 to 2003, they were the Web Director at the Council on Foundations, where they developed and implemented Internet strategic goals, budget, and operating plan emphasizing integration of database, messaging, media, and knowledge management applications. David also partnered with a web development and hosting vendor to implement website redesign, execute content management system migration, and negotiate application enhancements.

From 2003 to 2000, they were the Director of Content Management at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, where they supervised an office-wide website distributed publishing process and guided website information architecture. David also co-chaired an internal Customer Relations Management Team initiated by the Executive Director.

Finally, from 2000 to 2007, they were the Online Producer at Maryland Public Television, where they collaborated with representatives from Johns Hopkins University and contracted firms on business and design requirements for a statewide education portal. David also researched and implemented federal 508/ADA guidelines, streaming media, and web events. David supervised a full-time Associate Producer and contracted freelancers.

David Tauriello earned a BS in Communications from Ithaca College between 1983 and 1987. David then went on to earn a MEd in Curriculum & Instruction from Northeastern University in 1992.
