Derek Syme

Derek Syme is an accomplished Automation Programmer at Xcel Automation Ltd. since March 2022, specializing in SCADA systems and automation solutions to enhance data collection and control processes. With extensive experience as a Grain Farmer at Giesbrecht Farm since June 2015, Derek manages operations, equipment maintenance, and planning. Previous roles include teaching positions at Beijing Prepare Education Technology, imparting knowledge in microcontrollers and digital electronics to approximately 95 students annually, along with being a Circuit Design Engineer at Patchr EDU and an Embedded Data Collection Engineer at Axon Collective.
