Seth Burroughs is the EVP of Business Development and Treasury at Xcel Brands. Seth has over 15 years of experience in franchise-related Mergers & Acquisitions and financial planning & analysis.

Burroughs began their career in franchise management with NexCen Brands, Inc., where they were part of a team that founded the company. Seth oversaw franchising-related Mergers & Acquisitions and financial planning & analysis for the global brand management company. Seth also performed and managed due diligence, including financial and quantitative analyses, on seven acquisitions representing a total purchase price of over $300 million.

In 2006, Burroughs joined Global Franchise Group (GFG Management, LLC) as Vice President, Corporate Development. In this role, they were responsible for negotiating definitive agreements for franchise-related acquisitions and overseeing the company's financial planning & analysis. Seth also managed a team of three financial analysts to create complex financial models, including corporate cash flow models, DCF and accretion/dilution models to analyze acquisitions and for financial planning purposes.

In 2008, Burroughs successfully negotiated and restructured the company's $180 million line of credit with the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi. Seth also managed the sale of the company's apparel and home brands, including Waverly Home and Bill Blass, to pay down the company's credit facility.

Seth Burroughs has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, where they majored in finance, management, and law. Seth is also a cum laude graduate. Prior to attending The Wharton School, Burroughs was valedictorian of their class at Kimball Union Academy.

Seth Burroughs reports to Robert W. D’Loren, CEO & Chairman. They are on a team with James F. Haran - CFO, Isaac Mizrahi - Chief Designer of Isaac Mizrahi Brands , and Annette Schatz - Chief Merchandising Officer.
