Ian Benson

Ian Benson is an accomplished professional with over three decades of experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Area Vice President at Xcel Energy since September 1991, Ian has demonstrated a strong commitment to the energy sector. Ian’s background in military service includes a tenure as CDR in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 1984 to 2006. Ian holds an MBA in Business from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business and has earned a B.S. in Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
