Jesse Tygum

Jesse Tygum has extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Nuclear Fleet Operations at Xcel Energy since November 2003. Tygum's career at Xcel Energy includes roles such as Maintenance Manager, Shift Manager, Control Room Supervisor, Maintenance Planning Supervisor, Long Cycle Scheduler, and Preventive Maintenance Program Engineer. Prior to this, Tygum served as a Nuclear Electrician in the US Navy from August 1997 to August 2003. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology with a focus on Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician from Thomas Edison State University, as well as training from the Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
