Josh Ross

Josh Ross, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in transmission line projects. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Engineering & Design Outsourcing at Xcel Energy since January 2015, Josh is a vital member of the Consultant Management Team, overseeing consultant management for various transmission line projects across Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule constraints. Prior to this role, Josh worked at the Western Area Power Administration from September 2009 to January 2015 as an Electrical Engineer focused on transmission line design, utilizing advanced engineering software for the construction and maintenance of federal transmission infrastructure. Josh began their career as an Intern Engineer at Ball Metal Container in 2008, gaining hands-on experience in electrical work within a production environment. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, obtained in 2010.
