Martin Doern

Martin Doern is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in federal government affairs, currently serving as Area Vice President at Xcel Energy since May 2015. Prior roles include Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs at Xcel Energy, Senior Policy Advisor for the Committee on Natural Resources in the U.S. House of Representatives, and Federal Government Affairs Manager at Portland General Electric. Martin Doern also served as Legislative Director to Congressman Doc Hastings and held positions at the Bonneville Power Administration and the United States Senate, where responsibilities included Deputy Natural Resources Director and Legislative Assistant. Martin Doern holds a degree from Willamette University.
