Nancy Sungu

Nancy Sungu serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager II at Xcel Energy, where responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives focused on employee recognition, experience, and culture improvement. At Xcel Energy, Nancy also leads an internal team on cross-functional projects. Additional roles include board member for the Minnesota Private College Council and facilitator for the #IamRemarkable initiative, which promotes recognition of accomplishments among women and underrepresented groups. Previous experience includes program management at Genesys Works Twin Cities, where Nancy developed career pathways for students, and various positions in diversity recruitment and HR management at the Minnesota Department of Human Services and other organizations. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Sacramento City College.
