Steve Burk

Steve Burk is a seasoned IT leader with over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, and end user services. Currently serving as Director II at Xcel Energy since April 2017, Steve specializes in developing and implementing IT strategies that enhance user experience and ensure data security. Previous roles include Director of Collaboration, Mobility and Unified Communication at Voya Financial, and Manager of Mobile Technologies and Collaboration at Voya Investment Management, where notable accomplishments included significantly increasing video conferencing usage and improving service quality. Steve began his career with positions at ING, Epicor, and Target, demonstrating a strong foundation in technology management with an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa.
