Brian Barker

Brian Barker has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Brian began their career in 1995 at Marada Corporation, where they quickly advanced from a Program Analyst to a System Administrator. Brian then joined the FBI in 1998 as a Systems Administrator, providing technical phone support and resolving customer issues. In 1999, they joined the DoD Biometrics Fusion Center as an Engineer, where they developed network security procedures and designed network and software architecture. From 2004 to 2011, Barker worked at CSC as a lead Hardware Specialist, supervising a team and maintaining over 700 pieces of sophisticated IT hardware. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Engineer at Arrow Electronics, installing and configuring Netapp storage solutions. In 2012, they joined NTT DATA as a Senior Security Analyst and later became an Engineer at Keane NTT data. Brian then worked at Deloitte as a Consultant from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Barker served as a Senior Systems Security Specialist at DHA Group, Inc., focusing on systems security. Currently, they are working as a Security Consultant at Xcelerate Solutions.

Brian Barker attended Kenndy Western University from 2001 to 2004, where they did not earn a degree or specialize in any field of study. Later in 2004, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems at Kennedy Western University. Additionally, they obtained an Associates Degree in Computer Information Management and Computer Tech from Cheonggang Academy in 1995.
