Colette Ching has a diverse work experience in the field of defense and military operations. In 2022, they joined Xcelerate Solutions as an Operations Analyst for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Prior to that, they worked at the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command as a Joint Political-Military Planner starting in August 2021.
From 2016 to 2021, Colette worked at the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) in various roles. Colette served as the Chief of USERRA Plans & Policy from October 2019 to July 2021 and as the Chief of Ombudsman Services from July 2016 to October 2019.
Colette's earlier experiences include being an in-residence student at the USAF Air Command and Staff College from July 2015 to June 2016. Colette Ching's education history includes earning a Master's Degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a M.Ed in Educational Counseling & Guidance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1991-1994. Colette also holds a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Journalism & Sociology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they completed in 1990. Colette does not have a specified start year for their education at the USAF Air War College, where they are currently enrolled. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Joint Interface Control Officer from the United States Air Force.
