Mark Muendelein

Mechanical Design Engineer at Xcell Biosciences

Mark Muendelein has worked in various roles since 2016. Mark began as a Peer Mentor and Mathematics Tutor at San Jose State University in 2016, then went on to become an R&D Intern at Gynesonics in 2017, where they redesigned a problematic subassembly to optimize for assembly and cost, and designed and developed complementing fixtures, test protocols, and manufacturing processes. In 2019, they joined Xcell Biosciences as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Intern.

Mark Muendelein attended Valley Christian High School from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their high school degree. Mark then attended San Jose State University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design Studies. During their time at San Jose State University, they also attended Techshop from 2016 to 2017, where they gained experience in prototyping and tinkering.
