Alex Bloom

Alex Bloom is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology startups and the education sector. Currently serving as CEO of XComP™ Analytics since February 2022, Bloom leads an ed tech SaaS platform focused on student assessment and accreditation in health sciences education. Bloom's advisory roles include positions on the Board of Directors at Epifany and BLDG-25, Inc., as well as consulting for local startups to enhance leadership and sales strategies. Previous leadership roles include CEO of WebAssign, where Bloom significantly increased revenue and positioned the company for acquisition, and COO of PocketGear, where Bloom drove substantial growth in app downloads and fundraising. Bloom's career spans multiple companies, including Handango and Motricity, where strategic initiatives led to notable expansions and improvements in performance. Bloom holds a BS in Commerce with a focus on Marketing from the University of Virginia.
