Faisal Abbasi

Faisal Abbasi has a diverse work experience in the field of IT support and application consulting. Faisal is currently working at XD Innovation as a Senior MES DELMIA APRISO Solutions Consultant since March 2021. Prior to this, Faisal worked at SOFYNE as a Senior MES DELMIA APRISO Solution Consultant from February 2014 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for writing functional and technical specifications for application development and customizing the existing solution for clients.

Before joining SOFYNE, Faisal worked at Fujitsu as an Application Support Engineer from May 2012 to February 2014. Here, they provided 3rd line technical support for vital applications for retailers and supply chains, and also attended client sites to resolve complex issues.

Faisal also worked at Cerco I.T as an Application Support Engineer from October 2011 to April 2012, where they worked on projects for clients including Specsavers, Marks and Spencer, Tesco, Boots, DVLA, and others.

Their earlier experience includes working at Sesco Repairs Centre as an IT Support Engineer from November 2006 to September 2011, and at MaxiTech LTD as an IT Support Engineer in September and November 2006.

Faisal Abbasi began their education in 1998 at Harrow College in London, UK, where they studied A-levels in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Faisal completed their A-levels in 2001 and went on to attend the University of Westminster in London, UK. From 2001 to 2006, Faisal earned a BSC Honours degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Westminster and obtained an MSC Honours degree in Computer Networks and Distributed Systems from 2007 to 2009.
