Prithvi Singh Chauhan

Prithvi Singh Chauhan is an accomplished data science professional with a robust background in the energy sector, currently serving as the Chair of the Data Analytics Group at the Society of Petroleum Engineers - SPE GCS Gulf Coast Section since July 2024. This role involves leading a 30-member team in organizing technical events that advance data science applications in the Oil and Gas industry. Prithvi's experience includes positions as an Associate Data Scientist at Xecta, where responsibilities involve creating machine learning workflows, and previous internships focused on deep reinforcement learning and reservoir engineering. Educationally, Prithvi holds a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. Prithvi has also demonstrated leadership and innovation in projects related to renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
