Alfredo Muniz is a distinguished technologist and entrepreneur, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO of XEED, LLC, where the focus is on advancing full-body tracking in virtual and augmented reality spaces. As the OpenXR Chairman for The Khronos Group, Alfredo leads efforts to enhance the interoperability of XR technologies. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Design Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where Alfredo supported innovative student projects, and as an Electrical Design Engineer Intern at PCH Lime Lab, where critical project advancements were made. Alfredo also contributed to the GNU Radio project during Google Summer of Code 2014 and has held research roles that improved electric vehicle technology at the University of Pennsylvania. Alfredo earned a Master’s Degree in Robotics and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania.
