Wian van den Bergh

Wian van den Bergh has a diverse work experience in the fields of research and engineering. Wian is currently employed at Xeltis as a Principal R&D Engineer, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior R&D Engineer from January 2021 to January 2023, and as an R&D Engineer from January 2019 to January 2021. Wian began their career at Xeltis as a Junior R&D Engineer from July 2018 to December 2018.

Before joining Xeltis, Wian worked at Lodox Systems as a Lead field engineer from June 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating regional maintenance and installations of full-body low dosage x-ray machines. Wian also reported customer feedback from clinical settings and contributed to the formulation of design improvements.

Wian's educational background includes studying at the University of Cape Town from July 2014 to September 2017 as a student.

Wian van den Bergh completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 2013. Wian then proceeded to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which they completed in 2018.
