Sara Korsmo

Sara Korsmo began their career in 2013 as a Marketing Operations Intern at Seattle Wunderman Network, where they were chosen from over 400 applicants to partake in the internship program. During their time there, they gained direct experience in project management, research, work flow management, and operations. In 2014, they joined Hitachi Vantara as a Program Manager and was promoted to be an engineering manager. At Hitachi Vantara, Sara was responsible for Organizational Portfolio & Product Strategy, Product Engineering Delivery Health, and Global Site Operations & Communications. In 2018, Sara joined Expedia Group as Manager, Business Programs and Operations, Program Manager III, Enterprise Learning, and Program Manager III, Operations. Finally, in 2022, Sara began their role as Chief Operating Officer at Xemelgo, a suite of apps for manufacturers that improves operational efficiency on the factory floor with real-time RFID technology.

Sara Korsmo has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Washington State University, obtained between 2010 and 2014. Sara also holds four additional certifications: Performance Consulting: Improving Human Performance from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) obtained in September 2020, Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci obtained in November 2019, Project Leadership Certificate from Cornell University obtained in October 2017, and Agile Boot Camp from ASPE, a division of Fortis College obtained in February 2015.
