Umesh Bhutoria is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in decision support systems and carbon finance. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Xempla since August 2018, Umesh has developed a software product that significantly enhances proactive decision-making for operations and maintenance teams, resulting in cost reductions of up to 40%. As a Director at E-Cube Energy Trading Pvt. Ltd. since December 2009, Umesh has established strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions across Europe and Asia, generating over 3 million Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) and positioning the firm as a leader in the Indian CER broking sector. Additional roles include Executive Council Member at the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy, and participation in the World Energy Council's Future Energy Leaders Forum. Umesh has a background in business development and leadership from earlier positions, including Head of Business Development at Rajasthan Industrial Enterprises and President of AIESEC Kolkata.
