Jasmine Taplin started their career in 2006 as Counter Staff at Mile End Climbing Wall, where they provided customer service and performed data entry and administration tasks. In 2012, they worked as an Administrator at Pharmabotics Ltd, where they conducted research and built a prototype rotational casting machine.
In 2013, Jasmine joined RWE npower as a Commercial Developer, preparing contracts and entering client information to meet carbon reduction obligations. Jasmine later became an Operations Analyst, identifying call drivers and coordinating a trial for a data-capturing system. In their final role at RWE npower, they served as a Corporate Development and Strategy Analyst, researching energy solutions and contributing to investment decisions.
In 2015, Jasmine joined innogy SE as a Business Analyst and Project Manager, focusing on market research, hypothesis testing, and competitor analysis. Jasmine also worked as an Innovation Analyst, managing projects related to smart home trials, blockchain technology, and retirement trends.
From 2017 to 2018, Jasmine worked as a Data Intelligence Analyst at the Financial Times, leading a transition to BigQuery and preparing trade reports. Jasmine then joined notonthehighstreet.com as a Commercial Analyst, creating dashboards and collaborating with the Finance and Partner teams on various projects.
In 2020, Jasmine joined Kaia Health as a Senior Data Analyst, using SQL and BI tools to drive data-informed decision making. Jasmine also took on leadership and management responsibilities, including OKR planning and mentoring a junior product analyst. Currently, they work as a Senior Product Analyst at XEMPUS.
Jasmine Taplin completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick from 2009 to 2012. In addition, they obtained the certification of Duolingo German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo in April 2016.
