Oleksandr Milrud

Oleksandr Milrud has a strong background in Linux system administration and DevOps engineering. Oleksandr has worked at various companies, starting their career at Unicom ISP as a System Administrator in 2000. Oleksandr then joined U-wiss, where they were responsible for architecting, installing, and maintaining hosting environments for several projects. At Buddy-IT, they continued their work as a Linux System Administrator, ensuring the smooth operation of hosting environments for multiple projects.

In 2015, Oleksandr joined Windeln.de as a System Administrator. During their time there, they were responsible for installing, tuning, and maintaining the hosting environment, as well as managing various applications such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, and Tomcat.

Oleksandr then moved on to CHECK24 Vergleichsportal GmbH, where they worked as a Linux System Administrator and DevOps engineer. In this role, they contributed to the installation and maintenance of operating systems on servers and played a key role in managing the hosting environment.

From 2018 to 2022, Oleksandr worked at Allianz Technology as a DevOps Engineer. Oleksandr was responsible for various DevOps tasks, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment and management of applications.

Currently, they are working at XEMPUS as a Senior DevOps engineer.

Oleksandr Milrud attended Chernivci National 'Juriy Fedkovyc' University from 1991 to 1996, where they pursued a field of study in Mathematics. In addition to their academic education, they obtained a certification in GitOps Fundamentals from Codefresh in January 2022.
