Aaron Contreras

Aaron Contreras has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Aaron is currently serving as the Executive Director of CMC Operations at Xencor since April 2020. Prior to that, they held multiple executive roles at Amgen from 2003 to 2019, including Executive Director of Final Product Supply and Logistics, Drug Product Supply, and Drug Substance Supply. Aaron also served as the Director of Manufacturing and Senior Manager of Manufacturing at Amgen. Before joining Amgen, Aaron worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Grifols (previously Alpha Therapeutics) from 2000 to 2003.

Aaron Contreras has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, General from California State University, Los Angeles. Aaron also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from California State University Channel Islands. In addition, they have a Master's degree in Biotechnology from California State University Channel Islands.
