Kelly Tindel

Director CMC Operations, Bioanalytical Sciences at Xencor

Kelly Tindel's work experience begins in 1999 as a Staff/Principal Scientist at Clinical Micro Sensors, where they conducted research and development for the eSensor DNA biochip. Kelly later worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Senior Scientist, focusing on the research and development of biomarker controls. In 2006, Kelly became the Manager of Systems Chemistry at Iris International Inc, leading a team in research and development.

Moving forward, they joined Grifols Biologicals, Inc in 2010 as a Manager, overseeing methods development and validation. From 2014 to 2016, Kelly worked at Baxter International Inc. as the Analytical Services Manager, providing support for non-routine investigations and developing new methods for quality control. Kelly then transitioned to Baxalta (previously Baxter) as the Senior Manager of Analytical Services, where they continued to support investigations and develop new methods.

Kelly then took on the role of Director and Head of Rapid Response for investigations at Shire (previously Baxalta) in 2016, leading a team that provided analytical support for manufacturing and quality control investigations. Kelly later became the Director of Global Quality Control at Shire in 2017, responsible for strategic planning and implementation of quality control processes.

In 2019, Kelly joined Takeda as the Director of Analytical Investigations and Remediation, focusing on analytical problem-solving. Currently, they are the Director of CMC Operations, Bioanalytical Sciences at Xencor since 2020.
