Alistair Black

Alistair Black is an experienced leader in risk management and operational readiness, currently serving as Senior Director at X-energy UK since May 2023, after holding the role of Director for New Build Projects within the same company. Previous experience includes managing operations at Nawah Energy Company, where Alistair held the position of Operational Readiness Control Centre Operations Manager and Manager of Enterprise Risk and Business Resilience. Prior roles also include Manager of Enterprise Risk Management at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and Head of Business Risk Management at ADNOC Group. Alistair began a career at KPMG UK as an Executive Advisor and started as a Graduate Consultant at Marsh. Educational qualifications include an Associate Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant from CIMA, an Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and a BA in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University.
