Evan L. Dean

Evan L. Dean, P.E. serves as the Plant & Process Design Manager at X-energy, managing mechanical system and design engineering resources for the Xe-100 projects. Prior roles at X-energy include serving as the Steam and Feedwater Systems Engineering Manager and System Engineer, where responsibilities included managing system designs for various reactor plant systems and leading interdisciplinary teams. Past experience spans over a decade at Burns & McDonnell, where Evan led nuclear design projects and managed complex equipment contracts. Earlier positions include roles at Omaha Public Power District and Black & Veatch, focusing on system engineering and mechanical design for various power plant systems. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
