Hristo Atanasoff

Hristo Atanasoff currently serves as the Metallics Structural Analysis Manager at X-energy since October 2025. Prior to this position, Hristo held the role of Chief Structural Engineer & Group Manager at Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc. from December 2008 to October 2025. Hristo began the professional career as a Structural Engineer at Swales Aerospace, where employment lasted from October 1992 to December 2008. Hristo holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Maryland, completed between 1984 and 1991.
