Sean Lanich has a diverse work experience in the field of cloud-based restaurant management platforms and systems engineering. Sean started their career as a Customer Service Analyst at XPIENT Solutions, where they were responsible for maintaining customers' mobile applications and building monitoring dashboards. Sean then joined Heartland Payment Systems as an Associate Systems Engineer, where they led multiple partner integrations and migrations to the company's AWS environment. Sean also implemented auto-scale policies, built NewRelic dashboards, and outlined disaster recovery strategies. Currently, Sean is working at Xenial as a Lead Cloud Engineer. In this role, they have implemented cloud migration strategies, reduced AWS costs through automation, and created an automated deployment system for new code. Sean has also optimized data usage and implemented hot/warm/cold data phasing to reduce costs. Throughout their career, Sean has collaborated with various departments and implemented measures to enhance system performance and mitigate production disruptions.
Sean Lanich obtained an Associate's Degree in Network Systems Administration from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, in February 2021, they earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
