Andrea Difabio

Andrea DiFabio serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc. since November 2022. Prior to this role, Andrea was the EVP, Chief Legal and Administrative Officer at Repertoire Immune Medicines from April 2020 to November 2022, and held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Codiak BioSciences from February 2019 to November 2022. Notably, at Bioverativ, a Sanofi company, Andrea served as EVP, Chief Legal Officer and was instrumental in establishing the company as a standalone entity and guiding its acquisition. Andrea's extensive legal experience began at Biogen, where multiple promotions occurred, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Research & Business Development Counsel. Early career experiences include significant roles at PAREXEL, Brown Rudnick LLP, and Robins Kaplan LLP, with a legal education from Northeastern University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Boston University.
