Andrew McBride

Andrew McBride, PhD, currently serves as Senior Project Manager in Discovery at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., with a prior role as Project Manager in the same team. Previous experience includes managing product development projects at Aurora Cannabis Inc. and leading new product developments as R&D Project Manager at Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc., where significant contributions included the launch of 11 products and managing enterprise-level projects. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Scientific Research and Experimental Development Associate at Goulet Associates, providing consultancy for life sciences businesses, and held various research and teaching positions at the University of Glasgow. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from The University of Edinburgh and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Medical Genetics and Genetics, respectively, from the University of Glasgow.
