Isaac Obezo

Isaac Obezo is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Data Engineering Lead at XeoMatrix since August 2025, Isaac previously held the position of Staff Data Engineer at Starburst from February 2023 to June 2025, and Lead Data Engineer in Data Science at Tableau Software from April 2010 to February 2023. In these roles, responsibilities included building infrastructure and data strategies for data science teams, fostering the growth of data engineering teams, and enhancing data visualization practices. Earlier experience encompasses software engineering roles at Precor Corporation, Isilon Corporation, CoCo Communications, and CoCo Corp, where Isaac focused on test automation, software development, and the creation of testing tools. Isaac holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Seattle University and has pursued studies in Spanish and Iberian studies.
