Supunmali Ahangama is a seasoned Consultant Senior Data Scientist at Xeptagon, specializing in the design and development of machine learning-based analytics and forecasting models since April 2020. Previously, Supunmali served as the Director of the Undergraduate Studies Division at the Faculty of IT, University of Moratuwa from July 2018 to December 2022. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Information Systems with a focus on Health Analytics from the National University of Singapore, obtained between August 2010 and June 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in IT from the University of Moratuwa, earned from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Supunmali is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants program (2005-2007) and has experience as a Software Engineer intern at hSenid Software International in 2007. Educational background also includes attendance at Musaeus College from 1991 to 2004.
