Sourya Gooptu

Sourya Gooptu has a diverse range of experience in marketing roles. From 2005 to 2008, Gooptu served as a Marketing Manager at Mirchi. Following that, from 2008 to 2012, Gooptu worked as a Manager Marketing at Pantaloon Retail India Ltd. Gooptu then joined Planman Media in 2012 and worked as a Senior Marketing Professional until 2016. During this time, Gooptu focused on identifying business opportunities, organizing market research, and initiating brand promotion activities. From 2016 to 2022, Gooptu held the role of Manager Marketing and acted as the Marketing Head for Ortel Communication Limited in six states. In this position, Gooptu was responsible for all marketing activities, including ATL and BTL campaigns, promotions, and formulating business opportunities. In 2022, Gooptu joined Xerago as the Head of Marketing, where they currently hold this position.

Sourya Gooptu completed their school education at Julien Day from 1979 to 1993, obtaining a School Certificate. Sourya then attended South City College from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Higher Secondary degree in Commerce. Continuing their education at South City College Kolkata, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting between 1995 and 1998. After a brief gap, Gooptu pursued higher education and graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management from 2001 to 2004.
