Jim Thompson

Jim Thompson is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Xerion Advanced Battery Corp since June 2024. Prior to this role, Thompson held the CFO position at Relyion Energy Inc for a brief period in early 2024, and managed financial operations as CFO/VP of Finance for a start-up in the manufacturing sector from March 2023 to January 2024. Additionally, Thompson served as CFO at Our Next Energy (ONE) from April 2022 to March 2023, and held the dual roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Global Water Innovations between July 2021 and April 2022. Thompson holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
