Lana Kinney

Lana Kinney is an experienced design researcher currently serving as Lead Design Researcher at Xero since July 2022, having previously held the role of Senior Design Researcher. Prior to this, Lana worked at AIA Australia from February 2021 to July 2022 as Lead UX Researcher and UX Researcher, and at AKQA from March 2019 to February 2021 as a UX Researcher, contributing significantly to the account of Australia's prominent retail store, Bunnings. Earlier roles include Digital Producer and Account Manager at Appster, Human Factors Consultant at HFEx Limited for Kiwirail, and teaching as a Psychology Laboratory Demonstrator/Tutor at the University of Otago. Lana holds a Master of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Otago and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Victoria University of Wellington.
