Matthew Girolami is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Team Lead for Site Reliability Engineering at Xero since May 2025, Matthew previously held the role of Senior Engineering Manager at Trimble Inc., leading SRE teams for core platform services that support countless developers and users. At Later, Matthew excelled as Engineering Manager for the Search Platform, overseeing a cross-functional engineering team and contributing to both feature development and technical debt resolution. Earlier in the career at Xero, Matthew held several positions, culminating in team leadership for the Data Platform, driving engineer development and system automation. Matthew began the career in various roles in DevOps and database administration, gaining substantial expertise across multiple cloud environments and deployment pipelines.
