Natalie Kerschner

Natalie Kerschner is an accomplished User Experience Researcher with extensive experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Currently serving as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Xero since August 2025, Natalie's prior roles include Senior User Experience Researcher at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ), Senior User Experience Researcher with the Ministry for Primary Industries, and Senior Service Designer at New Zealand Customs Service, where Natalie's contributions involved cross-agency research and usability evaluations. Natalie's career began in the banking sector at Bank of New Zealand, where there was a progression from Senior User Experience Specialist to User Experience Research Director, leading teams to enhance customer-focused research strategies. Additionally, Natalie is the owner and operator of Kapiti Boutique Cattery since September 2013, overseeing daily operations of the luxury cat accommodation service. Educationally, Natalie holds a Bachelor of Education in Multimedia with a major in Instructional Design from Southern Cross University.
