Paul Evans

Paul Evans is an experienced corporate development leader with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Executive General Manager of Corporate Development at Xero since August 2019, Paul has established and led the company's M&A function. Prior to Xero, Paul held the position of Head of M&A at Fitzpatricks Private Wealth, where responsibilities included investments, acquisitions, integrations, and portfolio management. Additional experience includes roles as Head of Corporate Development at APN Outdoor and Corporate Finance (M&A) Manager at Deloitte Australia and Zolfo Cooper. Paul began a career in auditing as an Audit Senior at Brebners. Paul holds an ACA degree from ICAEW and a BSc in Money, Banking & Finance (Hons) from the University of Birmingham.
