Ernest Opare has over two decades of experience in electrical engineering and product development, primarily with Xerox since 2003, where roles have included Manager of Embedded Controls & Image Path Hardware and Senior Electrical Design & Development Engineer. Opare has a strong background in designing advanced hardware and firmware solutions for high-end digital printing technology, with notable achievements such as delivering the first ARM processor-based design which resulted in significant cost savings. In addition to the role at Xerox, Opare serves as a Community of Practice Fellow and Alumni Coach at IDEO U, focusing on design thinking and creative leadership. Opare's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from Washington University in St. Louis.
