Kent Chen

Kent Chen currently serves as Associate General IP Counsel at Xerox since April 2023 after 24 years as Senior Patent Counsel at Xerox Corporation, specifically supporting the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). Prior experience includes strategic roles as a Board Member at General Photonics, contributing to its acquisition by Luna Innovations, and as an Associate Attorney at Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman LLP and Knobbe, Martens, Olson and Bear, where Kent focused on patent application preparation and IP litigation support. Kent holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
