Alex Hladun

Alex Hladun has work experience at two different companies. From 2014 to 2020, Alex worked at Journey Energy Inc. in various roles, including Reservoir Engineer, Reservoir E.I.T., and Production E.I.T. From 2020 to the present, Alex has been working at Xerris, an Accolite Digital Company. Alex started as a Full Stack Intern, then became a Full Stack Developer, and is currently working as a Team Lead, Full Stack. At Xerris, Alex has developed web applications and offline-first PWAs for mining operations, utilizing technologies such as React, MST, Rxdb, GraphQL, AWS AppSync, AWS Cognito, and AWS S3.

Alex Hladun completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 2010 to 2015. In 2020, Alex attended Lighthouse Labs and completed a Web Development Bootcamp. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications, including AWS - Certified Machine Learning Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022, Professional Engineer (P.Eng) from APEGA in December 2019, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional from AWS in October 2021, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate from AWS in January 2021.
