Danny Castillo

Danny Castillo has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and IT coordination. Danny is currently employed at Xerris Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at UruIT as a Full Stack Developer from October 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining UruIT, Danny worked at Cecropia Solutions as a Software Developer from March 2018 to September 2019. Danny was responsible for working on healthcare projects, handling both backend and frontend development using technologies like .NET, C#, AngularJS, and Angular 7.

From January 2015 to March 2018, Danny worked as a Freelancer, specializing in Full Stack development. During this time, they designed and created customized solutions for clients, providing efficient and effective results using the latest technologies.

Prior to their freelance work, Danny worked at SPILFER C.A as an IT Coordinator from August 2011 to September 2014. Danny managed and coordinated the IT department, including network infrastructure and the design of new software solutions. Danny was also involved in ERP administration and staff training.

Starting from January 2010 to August 2011, Danny worked as a System Analyst at SPILFER C.A. Additionally, they interned as a systems intern at the company from April 2009 to December 2009.

Danny Castillo completed their education in engineering and systems. Danny obtained a degree in Informática from UNET (Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira) from 2002 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Magíster en Ingeniería en Sistemas from USB (Universidad Simón Bolívar) from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Danny Castillo has also obtained various certifications. In 2022, they earned certifications such as Migration Ambassador Foundations (Business) and AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Danny also achieved the Well-Architected Proficient status from AWS in the same year. In 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification. Furthermore, they received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from AWS in 2022. Danny also holds an EF SET English Certificate, indicating a C2 Proficient level of English, from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in 2019.
