Evan Nadeau has extensive work experience, starting in 1997 as a Desktop Support Specialist at Doppler Computers. Evan then worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at Logicorp, Husky Energy, and Business Computing Specialists from 1998 to 2001. Nadeau then transitioned to a Server Support Specialist role at Long View Systems from 2001 to 2004. Evan worked as a Desktop Support Specialist at Rent A Geek Computers from 2004 to 2006 before joining Enerflex Systems Ltd. as a Senior Infrastructure Technician from 2006 to 2010. At Enerflex, Nadeau led the deployment of Symantec Altiris management suite and played a key role in the SAP deployment and implementation.
From 2010 to 2022, Nadeau worked at TC Energy, starting as a Senior Server Operations Engineer and progressing to roles such as Senior Private Cloud Engineer and Senior Cloud Engineer. Evan was involved in various projects, including data migration, server deployments using VMware vRealize Automation, and the design and implementation of an internal private cloud infrastructure. At TC Energy, Nadeau also worked as a Cloud Architect and Tech Lead, leading teams in implementing solutions such as AWS Control Tower and AWS Security Hub.
In 2022, Nadeau joined Xerris Inc. as a Cloud Architect, where they currently work.
Evan Nadeau began their education at Okanagan College from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Evan has since obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (SAP) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019, the Pilot certificate for Small Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS), Visual line-of-sight (VLOS), Basic operations from Transport Canada - Transports Canada in March 2020, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from AWS in November 2018.
