Jacobus Badenhorst

Jacobus Badenhorst has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jacobus began their career as a Project Support and Estimating at GCS Energy Services Ltd. in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Project Assistant at Stantec. Jacobus then transitioned to ATCO Gas in 2017, where they served as an Engineering Co-op Student, specializing in Pressure Control. Jacobus gained further experience as a Web Developer at JAB Tech jabtech.io from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Jacobus holds the position of Engineer In Training at Stantec since January 2021. Jacobus recently joined Xerris Inc. as a Full-stack Developer in July 2021. Jacobus has continually expanded their skillset and expertise throughout their career.

Jacobus Badenhorst obtained a Certificate in Software Development from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2020. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2018, they attended the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering Co-op. In terms of additional certifications, Jacobus obtained an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021.
