Ian Humphreys

Ian Humphreys has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Ian most recently worked as a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Xevant starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Principal Data Engineer at FinditParts where they played a key role in advancing and developing their API infrastructure, designing data strategies, and improving data processes. Before that, Ian worked as a Data Engineer at Vivint where they built and maintained data connections, ETL pipelines, and a data warehouse platform. Ian also held roles as a Senior Business Intelligence Administrator at Zions Bancorporation, an ETL Developer at CLEARLINK, and an Enterprise Data Architect at Intermountain Healthcare. Ian's earlier experiences include working as a Project Specialist in Information Technology at Zions Bancorporation, an Instructor of Information Systems at the University of Utah, and a Network Technician at Salt Lake Community College.

Ian Humphreys completed their education in a chronological manner. Ian first attended Salt Lake Community College from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained an Associates of Science degree in Business. Ian then continued their studies at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from 2009 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Information Systems from the same university, graduating in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Ian obtained the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) V3 Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2013.
