Scott Sorensen

Scott Sorensen is the current Chief Technology Officer at Xevant. Scott has held this position since January 2019. Prior to that, they were the VP of Engineering at Cedar from January 2019 to December 2022. There, they were responsible for software development at OODA, which was acquired by Cedar. Scott also created products related to Healthcare billing and Prior Authorization.

From January 2018 to December 2019, Sorensen served as the Chief Technology Officer at Human Longevity, Inc. There, they were responsible for all product and technology organizations, including Product Design, Software Development, Development Operations, Data Centers, Partner Operations and Internal IT. Scott created a plan to commercialize research and was responsible for product design and development to leverage machine learning to integrate data from genomics, imaging and metabolic labs to create integrated risk diagnostics for cognitive disease, coronary artery disease and diabetes.

Sorensen served as the Chief Technology Officer at Ancestry from January 2002 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Architect at United Internetworks, Inc. from January 2001 to December 2002. Scott was also the Founder and President at Coresoft from January 1996 to December 2000.

Scott Sorensen has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
